With so many tattoo symbols to make you selection from, you can be overwhelmed. It is therefore much more easy if you think of tattoo symbols as being divided into the following groups:

YOU

Perhaps you have specific pastimes that you adore? Maybe you could use them as inspiration for your chosen tattoo symbols. Maybe you play the guitar? If this is so, perhaps you might want to think about including some related symbols. Do you love a specific tune? Locate a copy of the sheet-music and incorporate this.

IMAGINATION

Perhaps there any images that you appealing? Do you find fairies fun? Some could be included in your tattoo design to watch over you. The grim reaper is also popular to show the delicacy of life.

BLOSSOM

Are there specific blossoms that have a special meaning for you? Red roses put emphasis on love, bluebells put emphasis on the future and good health; sunflowers denote bright outlooks. The lotus is also popular as it lays emphasis on life's cycle.

LOVE ONES

Are you after your tattoo to denote someone or include part of how much they mean to you? Perhaps you include their smile, their name or a bit of their writing in your design.

THE STARS

Are you keen on stars? Maybe you could use elements of your astrological sign into your tattoo design. Perhaps you could infuse your astrological sign with the corresponding sign of a loved one. Outlines of the zodiac make particularly beautiful tattoos, and ones that you could utilize to reflect the curving of your waist. You may want to incorporate a picture of sunshine to denote strength and put emphasis on life.

COUNTRIES

Do the colors contained in the flag of a particular country appeal? Maybe a particular country means something important to you? Maybe you are drawn to the language of a particular nation, or perhaps you admire the contours of the characters used in that language? Maybe you might like to take into account having a favorite quotation or expression translated into that language. Do the practices of a specific nation call to you?

WILDLIFE

Are you a wildlife lover? Or does a specific animal mean something special to you? Lions accentuate strength and courage. Eagles lay emphasis on command and resilience. Dragons can symbolize positive and negative aspect. Butterflies are thought of as delicate and elegance (and are great for the curviness of your lower back), and lizards illustrate shrewdness and secrecy.

PASSIONS

Are you after your tattoo symbol to mean a specific personal feeling? If you want to demonstrate love, maybe you should incorporate a heart or flower into yourtattoo design. Do you want to illustrate grief? If you do, incorporate a black rose or some angel wings. Perhaps you are content? Perhaps include some sunshine in your design.
